New Threads Trio with ﬤנורkēnòr
If you’ve taken the time to stroll around Lancaster City on a First Friday then you are no stranger to this talented trio. Within a few moments of meeting the trio, a natural synergy arose to partner for an exciting collaboration.
New Threads is an acoustic trio that offers audiences an intellectual, entertaining and fresh take on familiar classics. Covering an eclectic selection of favorites spanning more than four decades in addition to playing their own material, Dave Pedrick (guitar and vocals), Lynn Royer (vocals and hand percussion) and Steve Davis (guitar and vocals) perform with a lively, intelligent mix of striking vocal harmony and innovative guitar work. New Threads is truly an artistic collective of veteran musicians that brings a refreshing, imaginative approach to live music performance. Read more at www.newthreadstrio.com.
Also on January 8, the New Threads trio will be joined by ﬤנורkēnòr: two musical listeners, playing violin and double bass. Together they weave masterpieces that spans a selection of Jazz (standard and contemporary), Jewish tunes via sensitive ensembles, and insightful improvised solos.
So, on a cold January winter evening, when you're in the mood for some nostalgic favorites like Peter Gabriel, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Stevie Wonder, Alanis Morristte, U2 and an introduction to the artistry of ﬤנורkēnòr, this evening will be a rare collaboration of seasoned musicians who take great pride in their performance. You will not want to miss it!
