Mosaic Presents Oceans in Love, SisterBrother and Saint Elouise
As a collaborative network of artists, activists, innovators and entrepreneurs, Mosaic is passionate about empowering and unleashing human potential and creativity. Oceans in Love, SisterBrother and Saint Eloise have exactly that in common - pure talent, deep honesty and a passion for bringing good to our world. Come February 12th, we have the honor of having these three amazing bands come together to share their stories and to give us a triple-bonus performance that you would not want to miss!
In a flooded music environment with a new band every ten minutes appearing somewhere out of the abyss, it is hard to find a true and organic substance to take hold of. In 2008, a band emerged into this over saturated sea of music and they had with them an organic spark which was not dowsed by the waves of mediocrity. They came out with brilliant song writing, great musicianship, and a sounds that takes you to a place familiar and comforting yet challenging. Oceans In Love is that band, the kind that will be listened to by all, no matter the age, no matter the origin, all coming together to hear words of mercy, hope, and love. Pushing the top charts of WJTL, this band never fails to deliver!
SisterBrother is made up of co-writers Suzanna Espamer and Nathan Horst. After playing music together for a couple of years and both being singer/songwriters, Nathan came up with the idea to put their creativity together instead of doing a solo album. That's when the journey began! Recording was about a year long process all taking place in Harrisburg, PA, at Nathan's very own Attic Recording Studio, and the debut album was released April 1, 2011. The album carries the theme of the Gospel, Christ's finished work, and what He's accomplished for us.
Saint Elouise is a local Lancaster band led by Christina Berg on vocals and keyboard, supported by the sensational percussion rhythms of Mason Hunt. Their influences include Regina Spektor, Chopin, Imogen Heap, Billie holiday, and Coldplay.
Take a few seconds and let your imagination run and you will quickly realize this night is going to create a great, meaningful shared experience for us all.
